You betcha, we're always looking for enthusiastic volunteers!

Sota Saves is always looking for enthusiastic, committed volunteers who are passionate about animals and the people who love them! Volunteering with us is a fun, enriching experience where you can make a big difference for local rescue pets while hanging out with awesome folks who care just as much as you do.

A few quick notes before you apply:

  • Age requirements: Volunteers must be 14 years of age or older. Volunteers under 16 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

  • Parent/Guardian applications: Parents and guardians joining an underage volunteer must complete a separate volunteer application.

  • Service & group events: At this time, we are unable to accommodate temporary community service hours or host large group volunteer events.

Board committees

  • The Events Committee is responsible for generating ideas for, planning, coordinating, executing, and managing all events related to the organization, such as fundraising events and adoption events. The committee will ensure that each event aligns with the organization’s mission and goals, enhances community involvement, and raises funds to support the animals. Members of the committee will collaborate with Sota Saves staff, volunteers, and external partners to ensure that all events run smoothly and are properly staffed.   • Help us create and maintain a top-notch facility that supports our life-saving mission! By joining the Facility Committee, you'll play a vital role in overseeing the upkeep and improvement of our animal wellness center in Hopkins, along with planning for future growth!
